Berkley's blessing

(I really don't like this picture. I took it with my iPhone and it was so dark and she looks mad. And she was soo happy that day! I'll have to take some more to make up for it, but this will have to do for now! :) )

Today was such a special day. Rob blessed Berkley. We were surrounded by wonderful family and friends that came to see Daddy give her a name and a blessing. Dear family and friends who were in attendance:
Nana and Papa
Uncle Scott, Tommy, Josh, Cassie
Uncle Mark, Aunt Shannon, Collin, Gracie and Quinn
Grandma Necia, Grandma Cheryl, Grandpa Erick and Tycie
Ryan, Melanie, Brenna and Kaylee Alexander
and Our ward family

It was such a beautiful blessing. Right before Rob took her up, she fell asleep in my arms. She didn't make a single sound throughout the entire blessing. I always forget to ask someone outside of family to write down the things Rob says in the blessing, so that I can focus on the Spirit that is always so strongly felt. The Spirit was so strong. I tried to write down as much as I could with my eyes closed! :) Berkley is such a special daughter of our Heavenly Father. I am in awe at the opportunity that I have to be her mommy. I hope I can be the mom that Heavenly Father wants me to be. I hope I can teach my children to come unto Christ and look to Him at all times throughout their lives. So thankful to be a mommy today. (Now if I can only hold on to this feeling when they start fighting or yelling!)
