Logan's baptism

Logan was baptized on July 11th, 2009. It was so awesome. He had so many family and friends that came! Special thanks go to Grandpa Erick, Grandma Cheryl, Grandma Necia, Nana (for leading the music!), Papa (for his talk on baptism), Uncle Mark, Aunt Shannon, Collin, Gracie, Quinn, Uncle Scott, Tycie, (for playing the piano), McClaine, Dexter (and Randi) Brunt, Brock (and Heather) Chapman, Liz, Tessa and Macie Thornton, and Melanie, Brenna and Kaylee Alexander for coming to the baptism! It meant sooo much to us that you would share Logan's special day!
I was asked to 'spotlight' Logan and this is what I shared...

"On June 24th 2001, we were blessed to have Logan Michael Wright come to our family. He is the oldest of 3 kids and he is a good big brother. He has a talent for having a burning desire to learn. Everyday he wakes up, (as early as we let him!) excited for what the day might bring. He is most often found building paper airplanes, lego helicopters/airplanes, bug hunting, playing baseball, and reading books about space, insects or sharks. He is constantly informing us of fun & exciting facts about the creatures of the world around us. He loves to be tickled and loves to make his siblings and friends laugh. He has always been very conscientious of other people's feelings. He is always careful to not say things that might offend others.
When asked what he has done to prepare to be baptized, Logan said, " I asked Heavenly Father if I was choosing the right to be baptized and my chest got really warm. And then I thought about Jesus and my chest got even warmer. Then I thanked Heavenly Father for helping me know."
When I asked Logan 'What his baptism means to him', he said, "I want to be a member of the Church and go to heaven to be with Jesus. I want to get the Holy Ghost to help me choose the right and be safe."

It is so amazing to me at how grown up my little 8 year old is. He understands so much about the love his Heavenly Father has for him. We love you Logan and are so pleased with your decision to be baptized. You are such a good example to your little sister and brother! We are so lucky to have you in our family!

Well, I made it through the whole thing without crying until I shared his experience about his decision to be baptized. Then I was bawling! I tried so hard not to cry, but it was impossible! LOL
