What happens when mom and all the kids are sick?  Daddy brings home a Wii.

Rob and I swore we would never have video games in our home.... but that was before we found out how fun a Wii is.  Seriously, it is so fun and addicting!   Don't you just love family bonding time?

Tip: Don't stand in front of the other person when you're boxing...

Turtles and mud

Today Hailey was watching a cartoon and she asks,
"Mom?  Do turtles like mud?"
Me: "Um.. probably not because they might get stuck in it."
Hailey: "Well, maybe just the talking turtles like mud then."

(FYI: Come to find out, turtles really DO like mud... even the real ones!  There's even a species of turtles called the "Mud Turtle"... there's so many things I have yet to learn....)

She Will Make Greater

She will make greater

Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater.
If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby.
If you give her a house, she'll give you a home.
If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal.
If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart.
She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.

So, think twice before giving her any crap.....

Thank you April and Joette for this!

Happy Birthday Hudson!

We couldn't have asked for a better baby.  You slept 10 hours the first night home from the hospital.  Here are some pics from the first 2 years of your life.

We love you Hudson!  Happy Birthday!

Hudson J Wright born 1/11/07
9 lbs. 14 oz. 21 in.

Things I like:
1. Hugs!  (And kisses from mommy)
2. Staying up late and sleeping in
3. Scaring my brother and sister by how ferocious I can be.
4. French fries
5. Warm milk
6. A good flick (Toy Story, Cars, Incredibles, Annie)
7. To sing

Things I don't like:
1. Being the third wheel
2. When my parents don't do what I ask, when I ask.
3. When anyone mistakes my toys for their own.
4. Invasion of my personal space.
5. Socks!

I'm 2!

I had such a good day today!  I got so many cool toys!

And now, since I'm 2 and all, I thought I would set some guidelines for my loved ones to take note of.
1. Do NOT ride my bike or touch it!  In fact, don't even look at it!
2. If you see me with my new bat, you better steer clear.  I am not responsible for anything that happens if you ignore this warning.
3. If I want something that you have, you better give it to me, or else!
4. If you wake me up before I think it's time, you better be ready to suffer the consequences.
5. I really like to snuggle right when I wake up, so be prepared to not do anything else for about 20 minutes.  If you do, I will scream.
6. I love to play hockey, so don't even think about taking away my hockey stick.
7. I will say your name as many times as it takes for you to pay attention to me.
8. Do NOT take me out of my bath before I am ready to get out.
9. Do NOT put me in the little baby part of the grocery cart!  Or I will stiffen up my entire body so that it doesn't even bend and then I'll scream and everyone around us will think that you're hurting me.
10. If you don't put the movie on right when I get into the car, I will scream and yell until it comes on.
I think this is a good start.  It may seem a little overwhelming right now, but if we work as a team, we will all be happy.  Here's to another great year!
