Logan brought this recipe home from school and we just made it today. We made vanilla and it was sooo yummy! Best of all, it took less than 5 minutes and the kids loved it!
Ice Cream in a bag
Small Ziploc: (sandwich size)
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. sugar (just because I wanted to make it sweet! The recipe calls for 2 tsp. sugar)
chocolate or strawberry syrup (if desired)
Large Ziploc:
1/2 filled w/ ice (can do a little more than half if you want)
6 Tbsp. salt
*Seal small ziploc
*Place small ziploc inside large Ziploc
*Seal large bag
*Shake for approx. 4 minutes or until solidified like ice cream
*Pour into bowls and.....
Enjoy!
Note: Logan said that when they made it at school, the small bags had a tendency to open, so all the salt from the big bag got into it and it was sick. So... before you take a bite, make sure that the small bag didn't open during the shaking process!
Also, since it doesn't really make that much per bag, you can just make a bag for each person! :) But this recipe gave enough for Logan, Hailey, Hudson and me.

How fun, I think that we will give this a try for FHE tonight. Thanks for the idea!
Do you use crushed or cubed ice? And do you just eat the contents of the small bag?
I think we'll give this a shot. Sounds so fun.
Cool, we'll have to give it a try!
