Last week I was working out on the treadmill, and an old man got onto the machine next to me and he started talking to me. I had my earbuds in, so I couldn't hear him. So, I took them out and He goes, "Are you a race walker?" My reply was of course, "No, I'm not."
"You have the best race-walking form of anyone I've ever seen! I have been coming to the gym for years and I have never seen anyone have as good a form as you do!" (Honestly, I was like, is this guy for real?!) He went on to tell me that he is 72 years old and he used to be a race walking coach and he's never seen anyone have such a natural ability to race walk. LOL As you can imagine, I was dying laughing inside! He ended with telling me that he would really encourage me to pursue learning the technique more fully and to start racing. Sadly, he told me that the only races that are in the state of Washington are held in Seattle... DARN! After he left, the man on the machine to my left goes, "Remember your friends when you make your first million!" And it was President MacFarlane! (For my friends living outside of Spokane, he used to be my Stake President! LOL)

Future UFC Contender?
Hudson got 'kicked out' of the gym's Kid Zone today (for the day)... not necessarily blog worthy, but what he said about it IS!

Night Skiing
My dad and I took Logan and Hailey night skiing last Friday. It was a blast! The kids are so fun to ski with! Hailey can ski without the harness now, so it's very exciting! In the video, she kept stopping because she was wondering what I was doing. Logan can go alot faster than he did when I took the video, but he was being a little camera shy. LOL

What the heck would you do in a situation like that?
SALT LAKE CITY - It took a wedgie and a headlock to pin down a man suspected of breaking into a car. Yvonne Morris, a technician at the Brickyard Animal Hospital, said she chased a man who broke into a co-worker's car, but he kept squirming away from her. The third time, Morris grabbed hold of the man's boxer shorts and pulled. Salt Lake City police said she then she put a headlock on the man until help could arrive. The man was booked into the Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of vehicle burglary, possession of stolen property and outstanding warrants.Woman wields wedgie to subdue suspect

What happens when mom and all the kids are sick? Daddy brings home a Wii.
Rob and I swore we would never have video games in our home.... but that was before we found out how fun a Wii is. Seriously, it is so fun and addicting! Don't you just love family bonding time?
