Memory Lane

I got this from my friend Aubree! You know you want to play along!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Spy kids

While I was busy making jam today, I realized that the kids were not bugging me! When I was done, I found them like this. I was lucky enough to be able to get the "SPIES" on film!

Ribbit Ribbit

Logan is 'one with nature'. We had promised him a tadpole for his birthday. I called a couple pet stores in town and they all told me that it is illegal to sell tadpoles now, because it could turn into a bullfrog, which can totally take out an entire species of other frogs that are indigenous to the area. But, I found a store that 'secretly' sold me a couple tadpoles and called me when they arrived. So, we drove down to the store and picked up the tadpoles... (remember how cute and little the ones at Girl's Camp were?) ok, sooooo not cute, they were like the size of LEECHES! They were soo sick! I've never seen tadpoles so huge. So, needless to say, we took the nasty things back and Logan cried his eyes out. Yes, very sad.... LOL
Anyways, Rob took Logan to Young Men's the other night and he came home with this in his hand. Luckily I didn't sell the "Frog Habitat" that we had, because now, we definitely need it.
Me: "Logan, did you pray that you would find a frog?"
Logan: "No. It's just that sometimes when you're with someone you really like, you just have good luck! And I found a four-leaf clover at Carson's baseball game!"

Happy 4th of July!

I am so thankful to live in the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave"! I get chills whenever the National Anthem is sung or played. Have fun with your 4th of July festivities!!!

Rob's dream come true

After posting the RAD video of Logan's bike tricks, I realized that I should probably explain why our back yard looks the way it does, just to let everyone know we're not always this white trash... Rob's dream of owning a tractor partially came true a couple weeks ago when he rented one to dig up the backyard. The back corner sloped downward, so we had to dig it up and fill it in, to make the ground level for the playset we bought for the kids. He was in heaven. As you can see from the pictures, Hailey loved the tractor too!

I graduated from 1st grade!

My 1st day of 1st grade (Sept. 2007)

Last day of 1st grade

I really liked 1st grade, but I didn't like the math! My favorite part was when Mrs. Hogan would do science. When I moved to my new school, I met a lot of fun, new friends. Check out the video of me doing some sweet tricks on my mountain bike.

Small and Simple Things

"Try, as husbands and wives, not to be too demanding of one another. There must be a little give and take, a great deal of flexibility, and fierce loyalty to make a happy home." -Sister Marjorie Pay Hinckley, "Small and Simple Things"
